The SSHRC Insight Development Grant provides funding to university-based faculty members for research in its early stages. Funding ranges from $7,000 to $75,000 for projects from 1-2 years in length. Sociology faculty members should inform Sherri Klassen (sociology.research@utoronto.ca) if they are interested in applying. The deadlines for this year’s competition are as follows:

U of T MRA deadline: January 25, 2021, 9 am
U of T SSHRC online submission deadline: January 29, 2021, 9 am
SSHRC deadline: February 2, 2021
