Professor Geoff Wodtke studies the effects of concentrated neighborhood poverty on child development and educational outcomes; the determinants of intergroup attitudes and changes therein over time; and the causes and consequences of growing income inequality since the early 1980s. Professor Wodtke is also involved with research on methods for drawing causal inferences from observational data. His work on these topics has been published in the American Journal of Sociology, the American Sociological Review, Demography, and Social Problems.”
