The theme of the 2018 ISA World Congress of Sociology is Power, Violence and Justice: Reflections, Responses and Responsibilities. According to Margaret Abraham, ISA President, "This XIX ISA World Congress of Sociology will focus on how scholars, public intellectuals, policy makers, journalists and activists from diverse fields can and do contribute to our understanding of power, violence and justice." Early bird registration is now open and ends on March 20th.
