Recently Funded Faculty Research Projects

Notebook and paperAll of our faculty members have active research programs.

This page highlights some our our research projects that have recently received external research funding. Such funding provides support to hire student research assistants, pay for travel for fieldwork and dissemination, and cover the costs of software and research equipment.

This list includes those whose funding ends in 2021 or later. Other faculty members conduct research without external funding, have small funds that are to support their research, or have continuing grants extended from prior to this listing.

Faculty members who have funding that is not listed here should contact sociology.communications@utoronto.ca in order to have their grant added to this list.

For an overview of all of the research that our faculty members conduct, please review the Areas of Research Expertise and the individual faculty members' webpages.
